So Here is the Plan

This is the carefully calculated drawing of how the plan is going to work. What is this exactly? We are painting the hardwood floors in the upstairs hallway! You see when we took up the ugly carpet over a year ago to reveal that there were hardwood floors underneath, we were stumped as to what to do about them. So we did nothing.......
See that rough floor?! That is what it has looked like since we took the carpet up. It was going to prove to be a daunting task to refinish them and honestly we wanted something more fun. The second floor of our home is were all of the kids rooms are and they also have a playroom. Now as I type this post, Brian is working on this floor so you will have to come back tomorrow to see the finished project. I can tell you that it is turning out better than we expected!

I'd love to see how it turns out.

We have so many uncompleted projects in this house. We bought a fixer upper 3 years ago and each time we start one thing, something else needs out attention. For instance, we had someone re-do out bathrooms, but decided to install the lighting and paint on our own. Then we had to deal with water issues in the basement and still have to install lighting in one bathroom and paint both of them. Before we could finish our project in the basement, we got a leak in our kitchen. Since a cabinet had to be taken down and a wall torn out, we figured it was the best time to remodel the kitchen. After the kitchen taking months to do (neither of us really know what we are doing), we are just wanting a break. Last weekend we started clearing out the junk that has accumulated in our basement so that we can get back to it. Its always something!

If you wish, you can take a look at what we've done around our house by clicking on my projects around the house category. I always love to see what others are doing in their houses!

Sorry about the typos on "our". I noticed twice I said out instead of our.

ohhh can't wait to see how it turns out!

and actually i buy the pizza dough at our grocery store then boil the chicken and shred it and add Sweet Baby Ray's Honey BBQ Sauce and LOTS of red onion. I'm kinda obsessed with the sauce and love to make BBQ Chicken Pizza or BBQ Chicken Nachos with it!

and your goggleman story totally cracked me adorable is he?
